Phil Hellmuth – Bio
Phil Hellmuth is a professional poker player who is extremely famous for holding eleven World Series of Poker bracelets. While holding eleven World Series of Poker bracelets is quite an accomplishment within itself, Phil has made quite the record for himself. He won the the main event of the 1989 World Series of Poker and has been admitted into the poker hall of fame. Phil has won over six million dollars from the World Series of Poker and is ranked eighth on the top ten list of overall money winners on the World Series of Poker.
Phil has not had as much luck on the World Poker Tour as he had on the World Series of Poker. He has yet to win a main event, and has only won approximately $600,000 from playing poker on the World Poker Tour. Phil has tried to be very extravagant in his poker tournaments, doing very bizarre things that mess with his opponents minds. Some stunts in Phil’s career include constant talking, showing up to a tournament with eleven race cars behind him, and dressing in all military fatigues with a helmet that had eleven stars on top of it.
Who knows what is next for Phil Hellmuth. So far he has conquered some of the largest poker leagues that are in operation, and still has plenty of will to beat out the rest of his competition. His books and movies are keeping him busy, but rumor has it that he will be returning to the tables to get back into even more poker, very, very soon!
